Assam Rifles show of strength forces NSCN-IM rebels to vacate camp

The standoff between the Assam Rifles and NSCN(I-M) for nearly a week over an unauthorized camp of the outfit near the India-Myanmar border in Manipur’s Ukhrul district was resolved by a ‘necessary’ show of strength by the central paramilitary force that primarily handles counter-insurgency operations in the region.
